This boy I kind of have a thing with just got in trouble with his parents for smoking weed. He told me that he’s going to stop. I really want to encourage him, but inside I know that he’ll just smoke again in a few weeks.
How can I encourage him to stop smoking?
Considering he’s very young, he really has no idea about consequences or self-control. However, in order to help him you must keep him distracted and preoccupied, especially when the time comes around that you know he’ll want to smoke. Keep him away from that environment. Do this in a friendly manner and not forceful. He will most likely be agitated when he cannot smoke.
